Treasuring the Arts: Discover Your Hidden Artistic Talent
Exciting times are happening this summer at the eighth annual Visual and Performing Arts Camp. Participants will search for hidden meanning of artistic treasures at the arts camp while participating in arts activities in a vibrant, creative, learning atmosphere. All participants will receive a camp t-shirt. It’Äôs just plain downright fun in a safe educational environment where students are encouraged to try something new!!
The summer Visual and Performing Arts Camp presents a wonderful opportunity for young people to participate in a rich and rewarding eight day arts workshop with professional artists/teachers and arts educators.
For students: You can experiment with a variety of arts activities and try out your talents with new friends from other schools. Be creative and have fun in art, dance, music and drama while building important skills and knowledge in each art form.
For parents: Enroll your child in an environment that encourages each student to develop artistic talents and explore various art forms. Your child will study with professional arts educators in a dynamic activity filled arts camp geared towards high-reward and personal success.
Students will participate in a fun-filled adventure that will offer them the opportunity to engage in quality artistic experiences geared to their age levels and abilities.
A typical day will find students attending three fifty-five minute classes in the morning followed by a forty-five minute supervised lunch break and activity at noon. Students will end their day in a class and a production workshop. A culminating event will be held at the end of the camp on Wednesday evening, July 2.
